BLEACH* FESTIVAL AND ROBINA TOWN CENTRE PRESENT HERE I AM!.
“The ultimate discovery playground for children, participants will be able to pinpoint where they are, where they’ve come from and the kind of community that they want to create in the future.” – Bleach* Festival Artistic Director Louise Bezzina
Bleach* Festival has created the ultimate adventure for the children of the Gold Coast. Robina Town Centre will be the exclusive home to the 2017 Bleach* JNR program with a series of new interactive art installations titled Here I Am!.
A world of discovery, Here I Am! brings to life two gorgeous art and play spaces for children and their families to explore and create together. This year’s kids festival is an artistic adventure where children can consider the types of communities they live in and the natural world around them.
In ‘The Neighbourhood’ installation children become urban planners, architects, designers and community builders. Meanwhile, ‘The Swamp’ has been designed as a soft natural landscape for children to play and dream of a long gone past, of creatures and nature.
Here I Am! is a highly participatory artwork, designed for maximum play, where children create the kinds of places they want to live in and adults gain a sense of how we can make our communities more child friendly.
The space can be enjoyed by audiences at any time throughout Bleach* Festival 2017, with a super cool selfie spot and chill out zone.
To experience the installations to their full extent, join the artists and facilitators themselves at a designated workshop, and escape on a down-to-earth journey of discovery and contrast that will inspire the city’s future innovators.
