The man in red trades in his sleigh for a soft top at Robina Town Centre!
“Mum, what happened to Santa?” “He bought a Jeep!” According to the big man in red, sleighs are out this Christmas and soft tops are in, with Santa swapping tradition for a customised and super sporty Jeep Wrangler ahead of his highly anticipated arrival at Robina Town Centre on Saturday, 14 November.
Boasting plenty of boot space to fit his bounty of Christmas gifts, firecracker red paintwork and chauffeured by his favourite Christmas elf, Santa will be spreading the Christmas cheer across the Gold Coast every day until Friday 20 November in his stylish new wheels before arriving on The Promenade at 9.30am to meet and greet local families and he won’t be coming alone!
Joining Santa will be his very own flash mob of festive friends who are putting their best dancing foot forward to celebrate the start of the Christmas season as they surprise shoppers with a series of spectacular Christmas performances before Santa moves to his Enchanted Forest headquarters at 10.00am to get snap happy with his fans.
Back by popular demand, shoppers can visit Santa and have their photo taken in his magical Enchanted Forest daily from 14 November – 24 December, located on Level 3 outside Myer and featuring a myriad of furry forest friends, twinkling lights, interactive games and activities and surprise gifts for the little ones.
And parents can forget about lining up for hours to meet the man in red with Robina Town Centre’s innovative SMS queuing system, a new time-saving service that alerts shoppers when it’s their turn to have their Santa Snap, ensuring more time for Christmas shopping.
The Christmas celebrations don’t end there. Kids can shake it up in the Centre’s Giant Snow Globe located in Centre Court, where, for $5 admission, they can enjoy a real white Christmas and play in the snow with friends or chill out in the cool surroundings.
Robina Town Centre is the home of shopping, dining, lifestyle and entertainment on the Gold Coast and included in the outstanding range of more than 350 retailers is Queensland’s only Zara store, the Gold Coast’s only David Jones department store, plus Myer, the Apple store, Nespresso, Big W, Target, Kmart, Coles superstore, two Woolworths Supermarkets, the Promenade Lakeside Dining precinct and Event Cinemas.
